of Jeff Porcaro 's Death 40th anniversary of release & 45th anniversary of formation. Furthermore, this year marks the 30th anniversary of the death of legendary drummer Jeff Porcaro, who was the spiritual pillar of the band. The monumental work of TOTO, which has sold 12 million copies worldwide and won 6 major Grammy Awards, the most in history at the time, is now available as a 40th anniversary DX edition (SACD 5.1 ch hybrid board) planned exclusively in Japan!
The SACD layer, which contains 5.1ch audio, is overwhelmed by the intricately structured sound that comes out of the five speakers with good separation. In addition, the CD layer uses a sound source remastered under the supervision of members by Elliott Shiner, who is known for his work with Steely Dan in 2018.
In addition, 4 songs completed as new songs in 2018 are added as bonus tracks based on unfinished outtakes from the recording sessions of 1981-1982.
As an enclosed bonus, the 1982 JAPAN tour pamphlet / tour poster / Budokan performance ticket / analog board single jacket replica / session list book of the members, etc.
